Lakeville Hockey Coach Out of Hospital After Fall

Two weeks after falling and fracturing his skull on the ice during practice, the Lakeville North Girl’s Hockey Coach is out of the hospital.

Buck Kochevar also suffered some internal bleeding between the skull and the tissue that protects the brain. He was airlifted to the University of Minnesota where he underwent a two-hour surgery after the fall. He spent the past two weeks in the hospital, but is now resting at home.

According to his CaringBridge site, he is still experiencing headaches and pain in his ear, but continues to improve.
