I’m speaking in general terms so some of you overly sensitive, can’t wait to be offended and outraged about something crowd, please un-bunch your panties.

I’ve heard for years and years and years that MLK Jr. was a Republican, and it makes sense. Republicans freed the slaves, pushed for civil rights and the right to vote, and the opposition came from the Democrat Party. It was specifically created to fight against the blacks.

Something went terribly wrong along the way and blacks evidently have become institutionalized to slavery and back the Democrat Party which basically has bought them again with false promises, the welfare check, and the list goes on. Republicans are more in line with the dream. Equality, where a man is not judged by his color, but by his character. If you want to argue that fact, you lose. Turn on your TV and look at Sonia Sotomayor. The Dream still has a long way to go.

So, the sign above in the photo, is it true? Was MLK Jr. a registered Republican? NO! He was not. Nor was he a registered Democrat. He was just a man that voted for the person that he felt best represented what America stands for. Apparently, we have yet to learn that lesson.
