The Bullwinkle Award recipients receive a bullwinkle cap that they may keep only after they take a nice day long nature walk in the woods of northern Minnesota in mid November wearing said hat and a brown jacket. Driving instructors were at the Capitol Tuesday to teach drivers how to squeeze more miles out of every gallon of gas.
Two Minneapolis Democrats say they are considering legislation to require such instruction in Minnesota drivers’ education programs.
Rep. Frank Hornstein and Sen. Scott Dibble are bringing instructors from Ford Motor Co. who specialize in driving for maximum fuel efficiency.
It’s called “ecodriving.”
They will highlight simple steps like slower starts and coasting to red lights to save gas and reduce carbon emissions.

Just a couple things: First, Bullwinkle is a moose and I don’t believe he or any politicians in said moose costume can be legally shot during deer season. Second, I thought 2.0 was going to be a kinder gentler version and your calling politicians pussies and suugesting they take nature walks in moose costumes during deer hunting season. I can appreciate the humor in that but honestly I don’t see much growth here nor do I see a this blog as a venue for intelligent discussion of the issues.
