Yep. The next Supreme Court Justice, Judge Sotomayor had her decision reversed by the Supreme Court of the United States. And at first glance, it would seem that she was rebuked, but as Chuck Todd pointed out on “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, there is a hitch there. Vacation Update
As most regular readers know, I’m now on vacation and won’t be back until July 5th. However, I have my laptop with me, but… I won’t be posting every other hour like I normally do, because, well, I’m on vacation. I will be posting every 6 hours instead. On Monday the 6th of July everything will be back to normal.

Chris Dodd is deeply offended that people would say his unqualified wife doesn’t deserve all those fat corporate sinecures
Sen. Chris Dodd, the dubious Democrat from the Nutmeg State, told a recent interviewer that it was “offensive” that the media would suggest that his wife, Jackie Clegg Dodd, has potential conflicts of interest because she sits on the boards of four pharmaceutical firms.
With Sen. Ted Kennedy ailing, Dodd is the Democrat point man for upcoming health-care legislation.
Of course, this is the 21st century. Spouses of powerful pols have their own — often quite successful — careers.
Of course, everybody knows that Mrs. Dodd received no special consideration because of her powerful spouse — because Sen. Dodd says so.
That’s the same Chris Dodd who “just happened” to get sweetheart mortgage loans as a “Friend of [Countrywide Financial founder] Angelo [Mozilo]” — a relationship that is the subject of a Senate Ethics Committee probe.
That’s the same Dodd who “just happened” to buy out a friend’s share of an Irish cottage — for well below what should have been the appraised value.
Only after a public-interest group raised questions did the Dodds finally have the cottage re-appraised — whereupon the property’s value jumped to $660,000, from between $100,001 and $250,000 just last year.
How about that: In the midst of a worldwide recession, his vacation home doubles in value in just one year — as property values across Ireland plunged 40 percent.

Climate Kook Bill Subsidizes “Shower Czar”
There is no doubt the lunatics are running the asylum. If anyone thinks the Waxman-Markey Climate Kook Bill was a great idea, I ought to kick your dumb ass back to the Happy Hospital so you loons can do what you do best. Basket weaving.
I have to ask you seriously. Can you see what is happening to this country? I’m not joking, I’m not being sarcastic. Can you? And is this what you want?
Section 217 of the Waxman-Markey Climate Kook bill provides for a “water efficient product incentive program” that would provide rebates, vouchers, direct installs and other forms of financial assistance for the installation of water-saving products. Of course, we’ll all be stuck footing the bill. And this asinine kookiness will no doubt be overseen by an unelected unaccountable shower czar.
Soon to be regulated by your nearby Federal Government Outlet, I present to you… The Shower Manager! Soon to be mandated in all new residential construction and mortgages loans.
The Shower Manager not only puts time limits on the shower, it also cuts the water flow when the time has expired. Our unique shower timer is a patented two-phase flow controller that permits a full-flow of water for a time period you select, (5, 8 or 11 minutes) and then restricts the water flow by two-thirds when that time limit expires. You set the full-flow Interval that best fits your lifestyle and lock it in using a special magnetic sensor.

Sanctuary cities. Minneapolis is one, so is St. Paul. Basically, what they are is a sanctuary for Federal criminals to live without fear of getting caught, if they are the Federal criminals of the immigrations laws.
The cities that enact these unconstitutional laws should be held accountable when something goes wrong, that would have been prevented if only said city chose to enforce all the laws instead of only the laws they see fit to enforce.
I kept telling you she’s an activist judge that will legislate from the bench. A liberal fool with no understanding of the constitution and was unfit to sit on any bench, let alone SCOTUS.
I told you about her dropping the ball on the firefighter case. Look. To be a judge, all you need is common sense for the most part, that would automatically disqualify Sotomayor.
The Connecticut firefighter at the center of a high-stakes court battle told FOX News he feels “vindicated” by the Supreme Court’s ruling Monday that he and his mostly white colleagues were unfairly denied promotions because of their skin color.
Meanwhile, the ruling quickly became a political football in Washington as Republicans argued it raises serious questions about Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor’s judgment — since the opinion reversed a decision she had endorsed in the lower court.
Let me put this in simple, straightforward terms so that even liberals might understand. Sotomayor’s decision was overturned by the Supreme Court.
I’m not going to dwell on it, heck, I’m on vacation, I don’t want to put a whole lot of effort in to this while I’m enjoying the big lake. Bottom line, like I’ve always said, she should not be confirmed.
For liberals, here’s an inconvenient truth you need to accept. Whites can be victims of racism and prejudice as well as minorities. Wake up and smell the coffee.
A message from Michele
As I was writing you last Friday, Congress was in the midst of a pivotal debate on the cap-and-trade national energy tax.
Regrettably, the House of Representatives by a slim margin of only 7 votes passed this terrible job-killing, economy-crushing government power grab.
Just 7 votes. If only 4 of the Members that voted for this bill had voted the other way, we could have defeated this senseless legislation.
It goes to show you how absolutely important your early and active involvement is. The margins are that slim.
When I spoke on the floor during the debate, I laid the question out in its most bare-boned terms: this is about liberty versus tyranny.
Click Here to see my speech during the cap-and-tax debate
As I have made clear over and over again: I will always stand with liberty. God bless and thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Congresswoman Michele Bachmann
Example of media bias in Strib (again)
What the media in this country is supposed to do is report the news, as it happens and factually. Those days are long gone as most of the media is in the tank for the left. You can’t get a story without some sort of leftist bias. Take a headline from the Strib’s Sunday online edition, it read, ” Defiant SC gov considered resigning, but won’t“
What’s the purpose in that headline, other than to demonize the man more? Furthermore, what’s he been defiant about?
If anyone was defiant it was Bill Clinton. He didn’t have sex with that woman, remember? He wouldn’t even answer basic questions, yet I don’t remember anything negative written about him in the Strib. No pointing a finger and accusing Clinton of defiance by the Star Tribune. How about Ted Kennedy killing Mary Jo Kopechny whom he was screwing. You can’t get the Strib to even acknowledge that one even happened.
Just give me the news, and give it to me straight. Keep your worthless liberal opinions that don’t count to yourselves, or the editorial pages, your job isn’t to propagandize the news, it’s to report it, without bias.

I need to first begin this post by exposing insanity. The two big excuses of the insane are, “Oh it’ll never happen here. We’ll see to it. We’ll learn from the mistakes of others.” I love that one! If they truly learned from the mistakes of others, socialized medicine would not be considered. Now this one, “We’ll have the brightest and the best working on this, the right people will be in charge.”
And those two big excuses are the same excuses every country that has socialized medicine used, and in every single case, crap can not defy gravity, it still rolls down hill. The definition of insanity again: repeating the same actions while expecting different results.
Let’s see what Obamacare will offer us in the near future:
A critically-ill premature-born baby from Hamilton is all alone in a Buffalo, N.Y., hospital after she was turned away for treatment at a local facility and transferred across the border without her parents, who don’t have passports.
Ava Stinson was born Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, 14 weeks premature.
A provincewide search for an open neonatal intensive care unit bed came up empty, leaving no choice but to send the two pound, four ounce baby to Buffalo.
No choice? Well I suppose not. After all, Dr. Tiller is dead now. But wait! There’s hope! Barack Obama believes in late term abortions!
Welcome to the wonderful world of socialized medicine, soon to be known as Obamacare!
